I understand about 70% of what I read.


1.In Leon's class, Ten minutes before the end of class, Leon calls on Bailey who is the smartest kid in class. Leon call Bailey go to the in front of the classroom and criticize to him that Bailey had cheated on his all of test. Then, Leon hit Bailey's cheek purposely and just say "I'm sorry" without deeply apology. After the bell rings, Leon compliments Bailey on his bravery, and berates the students for watching the exchange and for enjoying it. Leon turns the tables, saying that the others were really the cheaters because they doubted Bailey.

2.I chose this because this is show us that new source of evil is revealed. Teacher Leon chooses a completely innocent victim. Actually, Bailey didn't do any wrong thing. However, Leon blame his student who is Bailey in front of students. Actually, I don't know that what's going on in this chapter. Because each chapter has different story and mail person. Just I chose this one because teacher make one innocent student ashame and was blamed by him because of teacher's some purpose. Until now, there are teacher kind of Leon in reality. I know that , so when I read this one, really I want to change this problem. Moreover, this story make me more expect to after this story.

a) caress - If you caress someone, you stroke them gently and affectionately.

b)crisp - If food crisps or if you crisp it, it becomes pleasantly hard, for example because you have heated it at a high temperature.

c) whip - If someone whips a person or animal, they beat them or hit them with a whip or something like a whip.
