Title of Book - The Chocolate War
Pages in the book - 263 I am now on page 131 I read 53 pages this week.
I understand about 85% of what I read.


1. The teacher Leon asked to Arche that sell chocolate more than normal amount of chocolate. However, Arche doesn't want to achieve this assignment. Therefore, Arche ask to Jerry that refuse to sell chocolate within a 10 days period of time. Nobody can refuse to sell chocolate and Nobody can refuse 's assignment, too. Few days later, teacher Leon is embarrassed to Jerry who deny to sell chocolate continuously. Selling chocolate depend upon individual's opinion. Therefore, teacher Leon can't do anything to Jerry. However, teacher Leon want to do some punishment to Jerry whatever if Leon can. Therefore, Jerry and Jerry's classmates are afraid of Leon.
2. If I would recommend this book to my classmates, I could say that this book give you some realizing about social. I think that there are lots of Arche and Leon in the world. Jerry is a rare person. People were usually forgiven if they agree with a strong man. Even a strong man is unfair. Then, most of the people don't know that they can become Leon and Arche who is unfair person. During I read this book, I asked to myself that if I were Jerry, can I deny something to them?. This book show you guys about real social problems. Maybe this book is good for everyone.

2) challenge - A challenge is something new and difficult which requires great effort and determination
3) defiant - If you say that someone is defiant , you mean they show aggression or independence by refusing to obey someone

School fire sparks nostalgia

# Summary

- This article is about school which burned on weekend. This school is in Sea-Tac. People who live in Sea-Tac are think about this school very proudly. Actually, this school is old building. Therefore, this school has lots of histories. Moreover, most of the students, teachers, and staffs have memories of the this school. This burned school make people sick and cry. 18 years ago, this housed the offices for the campaign to incorporate Sea-Tac and served as Sea-Tac's first City Hall. When this building's the period of prosperity, it had a classic interior. Therefore, the historical society had plans to salvage artifacts from this building. Also, this school has not glorious history. Before, some-one discovered a body hanging in the basement. Then, some-one recalls that the body of the Green River Killer victim was found on the grounds behind the school.

# My opinion

- I think that there is building which has old history in each town. However, this is difficult that building makes people sick and cry even it burned over. Therefore, I think that this school is really valuable building for people. Then, I really want to go here and want to know about histories about this school during read this article. Actually, if one building or house burned over, there were lots of disadvantages about money or something like that. Therefore, I feel sorry to this happening. I reminded about my school in Korea. If my school burned over, mayve I would feel sick same to this people. Because it means that all of my memories about school are disappear. Anyway, we have to be careful about a fire.
