Title of Book - The Chocolate War

I understand about - 70% of what I read.


1. I think that It tells story depend on person. When I read chapter 1 , it was about Jerry. And when I read chapter 2 , it was about Obie and Archie. Like this. It's background is Trinity School. Jerry who is freshman , Archie who is a leader of The Vigils , and Leon who is teacher. Depend on these three person, The story is develop.

2. Until now, I think "Archie" is the most interesting character. Because he is a leader of The Vigils which is not exist officially. Because of this position, teacher 'Leon' use 'Archie' for his purpose. Archie realized this , but he didn't complain to teacher anything. He show me that student's week attitude.

3. Leon asked to Archie that sell chocolate. This year, chocolate's amout are more twice than last year. Archie have to gather all of students in school. Especially, The Vigils's member. I think that the story will be about how to Arechie gather all of students.


Vocabulary words and definitions :

a) Anguish - Great mental suffering or physical pain.

b) Dedicate - If you saiy that someone has dedicated themselves to something, you approve of the fact that they have decided to give a lot of time and effort to it because they think that it is important.

c) Perspiration - The liquid which comes out on the surface of your skin when you are hot or frightened.
